Lead Casting
For complex shaped shielding parts we produce in-house lead-castings who will be usually machined to the final dimensions. The moulds as used are made of steel or aluminium. These moulds are designed and manufactured in our own tool shop.
The lead-casting itself is a traditional process where we are using the latest environmental technology to prevent any environmental impact. Our caring and ergonomic measures ensure an optimal protection of our employees during the production process.
If threads should be made into the castings, inserts are often applied and casted during the casting process itself. This ensures a durable thread connection for the lead parts.
